Dr. Ejaz Ali

Dr. Ejaz Ali serves as the Clinical Lead at The Awakening Rehab CIC, bringing extensive experience and deep commitment to the field of addiction and mental health care. He began his medical career by earning his MBBS degree in China and subsequently completed his psychiatry residency at the prestigious Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ejaz has worked closely with underserved and marginalised communities, providing mental health support to vulnerable populations. His hands-on experience at several addiction treatment centres in Islamabad has shaped his expertise in addiction psychiatry and deepened his understanding of the complex needs of individuals struggling with substance use.

To further advance his knowledge, he obtained a specialised certification in addiction psychiatry from a recognised institution in the United States. This international training has strengthened his ability to deliver evidence-based, person-centred care with a culturally sensitive approach.

Dr. Ejaz currently works across both child and adult addiction psychiatry, combining clinical insight with a compassionate approach. At The Awakening Rehab CIC, he leads the development of holistic treatment programmes, aiming to empower individuals on their journey to recovery and long-term well-being.
