THE AWAKENING REHAB C.I.C
We feel a deep responsibility to understand the unique circumstances, experiences, and challenges that have shaped our patients' lives. This approach allows us to gain insight into their journeys and the factors that may have led them to use substances as a means of coping.
During rehabilitation, we work closely with both patients and their families to understand the lifestyles and social patterns that contribute to stress and challenging situations. This helps us build a supportive relationship, guiding patients toward lasting change.
Our vetting procedures enable us to design a personalized rehabilitation plan for each client, maximizing their chances for recovery and minimizing the risk of relapse.
Throughout rehabilitation, we collaborate closely with the client’s family to gain insight into their world and understanding of addiction. Together, we set goals and targets to prepare them for the patient's return, ensuring a supportive environment for lasting recovery.
Working with families is essential to help them recognize the various triggers and situations that could lead to relapse. For successful rehabilitation, a strong relapse prevention program must be followed and upheld, and families play a pivotal role in this process by providing the support needed to maintain long-term recovery.
When a patient returns to their family environment, they may encounter numerous triggers and stressful situations that could lead them back to using substances as a coping mechanism. They might face moments that feel overwhelming, situations where they feel vulnerable, or even instances where they attempt to assert control over others as a protective response. Understanding these dynamics is critical for relapse prevention and sustained recovery.
To support our patients in achieving lasting sobriety and a positive outlook, we offer clinically-based therapies. After their time in the rehabilitation center, patients will inevitably face challenging situations in their everyday environments that could act as harmful triggers for relapse. Our approach prepares them to manage these challenges effectively, fostering resilience and long-term recovery.
Through our therapies, we offer stress management techniques to help patients cope with stress effectively. We implement cognitive behavioural therapies to assist them in transforming damaging core beliefs and negative thought patterns. Our goal is to encourage a more positive outlook on life and situations, enabling them to navigate challenges without falling back into harmful habits.
After rehabilitation, we develop a personalized relapse prevention plan for both the patient and their family. When consistently followed, this plan can be transformative, leading to lasting positive changes in their lives.
During the first three months of the program, we offer a personalized service by assigning a dedicated mentor to each patient and their family. This mentor helps monitor progress and provides support in overcoming any challenges that may arise. They ensure a continued focus on managing triggers and potential risks that could lead to relapse.
Psychological therapies will be provided for up to three months following treatment to support a healthy mindset and positive thought processes. This ongoing support is crucial for maintaining emotional well-being and reinforcing the skills learned during rehabilitation.
Additionally, patients will have the opportunity to join our organization and provide paid support to others seeking to live a sober life. We believe that life experiences hold more value than textbook knowledge, and sharing these experiences is essential for helping others. By offering this service, they can reinforce their own sobriety while serving as positive role models for others on their journey to recovery.
